Interdisciplinary Biomedical Innovation and Female Talent Development Program

The Ministry of Education's STEM and Female Talent Development Program aims to foster STEM research talent, especially focusing on female participation. It encourages students and educators to engage in STEM research, creating a female-friendly learning environment and supporting gender equality. This program provides financial support, project assistance, and promotes interdisciplinary collaboration to meet industry needs.

Developing Cross-Disciplinary STEM Female Research Talent Program in Smart Healthcare Application

This project integrates Intelligent Care into the Nursing Department's core curriculum, serving as the central focus for talent development. It provides education and training in essential professional knowledge and skills, encompassing key areas such as women in technology, smart healthcare, medical materials innovation, digital healthcare, precision medicine, and green technology. The project aims to establish an industry-linked training system and is organized into two main categories:

Intelligent Care Training Program: Comprising 10 courses that integrate clinical resources, the program aims to educate 41 participants. These participants will form 11 project teams, including 2 cross-institutional students, 6 nursing professionals from the Taipei Medical University system, and 33 university students.

STEM Innovation and Entrepreneurship Activities: These include organizing 4 events with foundational knowledge activities, 1 STEM workshop competition, 1 industry visit, and mentor exchange. Through various activities, individuals at different learning stages can engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration, experiential learning, idea generation, and the creation of marketable outcomes, with the ultimate goal of successfully nurturing STEM research and development talents with innovative thinking.
