2024 國家生技研究園區招商暨人才與技術媒合會 (NBRP DEMODAY)
This year's event will be held from May 28th to 29th at the National Biotechnology Research Park (NBRP)!
The main theme of this year's event is “Building a Vibrant New and Innovative Ecosystem to Lead the Biotech Industry to Leapfrog and Prosper”. With the National Biotechnology Research Park as the base of Taiwan's biomedical innovation ecosystem, we will promote international cooperation and linkage, and lay the groundwork for the global biomedical market.
This year's DEMO DAY will continue to demonstrate the abundant ecosystem capacity of the Park, and provide a stage for the Park's incubatees and domestic biotech companies to exhibit and compete for funding and technology product promotion opportunities.
This year's events include: Trend Forum, Investment Matchmaking, International Links, International Matchmaking, Talent Matchmaking, and Biomedical Innovation Poster Session.
Through the six major events, the Park will demonstrate its development capacity to the outside world, showcase the recent R&D achievements of the resident companies and research teams, and hopefully facilitate technical exchanges and cooperation links between domestic and foreign pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies, gas pedals and start-up teams.
The event has a strong line-up, with guests such as Prof. Harvey F. Lodish, Andrew W. Lo Fellow, Lauren Foster Associate Director, and Dr. Novalia Pishesha (Harvard Young Fellow) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a top US institution, being invited to deliver speeches and forums to convey the message that R&D results are the best way to achieve the goals of the industry. Four MIT experts were also invited to hold a two-day MIT Masterclass after the DEMO DAY to share their vision and provide professional counseling to translation teams and biotech start-ups on key competencies required for their development in the areas of technology, business finance and patent operations.
