TMU Bio-Med Accelerator Joins PwC Taiwan's "Pitching Wednesday" to Connect Biotech Startups with Investors
2026-06-17

TMU Bio-Med Accelerator took part in "Pitching Wednesday," an investment matchmaking event held on June 17 by PwC Taiwan, in partnership with Hung Hui Group and t.Hub Neihu Innovation Incubation Center. The event connected startups from TMU Bio-Med Accelerator, t.Hub, and PwC's Startup Growth Accelerator with the Taipei Exchange (TPEx) and investment institutions, showcasing new technologies from six biotech and medical startups.

Sharon Yi, Deputy CEO of TMU Bio-Med Accelerator, highlighted the accelerator's long-standing collaboration with PwC on biomedical startup initiatives. As Taiwan's first international-level university-affiliated medical accelerator, TMU Bio-Med Accelerator provides startups — both domestic and international — with clinical resources from six TMU-affiliated hospitals and long-term care institutions, spanning clinical trials, industry-academia collaboration, hospital adoption, business model development, corporate management, and fundraising planning. The accelerator also offers investment capital and a dedicated biomedical startup platform to help portfolio companies accelerate clinical adoption, advance toward capital markets, and connect with investors and market opportunities.

Six startups from t.Hub, PwC's Startup Growth Accelerator, and TMU Bio-Med Accelerator presented their technologies at the event, followed by dedicated breakout sessions connecting startups directly with investors.

"Pitching Wednesday" runs weekly, serving as an ongoing platform to match startups with investors and market opportunities.
