2023/2 University-Industry Collaboration Research Project. Accept application from 16 May 2023 to 3 July 2023
1. According to the regulation of National Science and Technology Subsidized University-Industry Collaboration Research Program”.
2. The implementation period of the project is 1 November 2023 to 31 October 2024. Relevant information is as follow:
A. Application procedures
i. The name list and the application form should be sent to the Association by 3 July 2023 (Monday) after being verified by the relevant personnel. Overdue application will not be accepted
ii. The applicant organization should review the qualifications of the project applicants and cooperative enterprises. Oly those who meet the requirements can submit their applications.
B. Cooperative enterprise investment regulations
i. The sum of the cooperation funds of the cooperative enterprises shall not be less than 25% of the total plan funds of the current year, and the cooperation funds shall not be less than NT$250,000 (the same below). If the project is in the field of humanities, the cooperation funds of the cooperative enterprises shall not be less than 20% of the total projects funds of the current year, and the cooperation funds shall not be less than NT$200,000.
ii. The cooperation fund of the cooperative enterprise can be used as a capital contribution in the form of providing equipment for planned use, and the sum shall not exceed 60% of the total cooperation funds of the cooperative enterprise, and shall be made within the equipment fee quota.
C. The information of this project announcement will also be made on the website of the Association.

E. When the applicant institution implements this plan for scientific research procurement, if it is the exclusive right or exclusive manufacturing or supply of the cooperative enterprise of the plan, there is no other suitable alternative target, or it is necessary to purchase directly from the cooperative enterprise of the plan and can provide specific for those who certify, the project host can explain the reasons and follow the administrative procedures of the applicant organization for project approval and purchase.
F. If chooses to pay the advance technology transfer authorization fee, after the cooperative enterprise pays the advance technology transfer authorization fee to the executive agency, it will pay the portion to the Association according to the regulations, and the plan executive agency should handle the payment matters.
G. If the required funds for each year have not been approved by the Legislative Yuan or have been partially deleted, the Association may adjust and reduce the subsidy funds according to the deliberation situation, and handle it in accordance with the provisions of Article 54 of the Budget Law.
H. The Association will grant the amount of subsidy according to the review results, and those whose plans are not approved for subsidy shall not submit an appeal.
I. The subsidized institutions shall handle all expenditure documents for subsidy funds in accordance with the key points for handling government expenditure vouchers.
