Taipei Medical University (TMU) is launching the TAIP-X 100 Open Innovation Call, built on TAIP-X (TMU AI Integration Platform X), TMU’s digital health integration platform. We invite teams from Taiwan and abroad to bring their digital health products and technologies into TMU’s clinical settings for real-world validation and adoption.

Program Highlights

• Simplified HIS integration: TAIP-X provides standardized interfaces that reduce the cost and technical effort of integrating with hospital information systems (HIS).
• Clinical validation: Selected teams gain access to the “One Campus” clinical network of TMU Hospital, Wan Fang Hospital, and Shuang Ho Hospital, and work with clinical teams to assess real-world impact.
• Scaling through the platform: Selected solutions will be added to the TAIP-X compatibility list and promoted to partner institutions in Taiwan and abroad, including Eswatini.

Focus Areas

1. Clinical GenAI and workflow optimization: generative AI, medical large language models (LLMs), and clinical documentation tools
2. Smart wards and nursing: nursing support, smart ward IoT, and clinical operations tools
3. Medical imaging and clinical decision support: imaging AI and clinical decision support systems (CDSS)
4. Precision health and extended care: precision medicine, chronic and rare disease management, and telehealth and extended care applications

Eligibility

Digital health companies, biomedical startups, and medical AI developers worldwide. Applicants must be ready for HIS integration and demonstrate the feasibility of clinical validation.

• Application deadline: November 25, 2026, 23:59 (GMT+8)
• Finalist pitch: Finalists will be invited to pitch at Healthcare+ Expo Taiwan on December 6, 2026, at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.
