Let us enter the international market together with the TMU BioMed Accelerator in 2023!!! The TMU BioMed Accelerator with the university, hospital, and BE jointly organised the 2023 TMUxBE TMU BioMed Accelerator Program on March 8th at the Taipei Medical University Xinyi Campus and Shuangho Campus. This year, the program attracted a total of 53 start-up teams from 12 different countries, including the United States, Japan, and United Kingdom. Finally, 15 outstanding start-up teams were selected, from the field of artificial intelligence, digital medical, medical devices.

The ceremony was opened by the Vice President, Chieh-Hsi Wu and BE accelerator, Arthur, executive partner from BE accelerator, encouraged the start-up team and mentioned that this year will build a "Taiwan-Global Data Platform" , focusing on assisting startups to use the advantages of Taiwan's medical big data to accelerate the creation of products to solve unmet clinical needs.

 The Silicon Valley office of Taipei Medical University in United States simultaneously participated in the opening ceremony. Partners and friends in Silicon Valley and GFIT students from Stanford also participated in the opening ceremony.

Chao-Hua Chiu, Vice President of Taipei Cancer Center led the team to visit Cai Wancai Cancer Building and Proton Center, and finally the newly completed BioMed Accelerator office in Shuangho Campus, Biodesign office and School of Engineering. The immersive BioMed Accelerator space allows the startups, industry experts and clinicians to experience an interactive communication environment.

There will be a 5-6 month coaching service, covering clinical fields, functional verification, fund matching, and business models. It is expected that on the demo day, each team will get the attention from the industries and successfully raise funds, and enter the international market.
